    • The RVE version is characterized by special "Graffiti? livery, a striking graphic design inspired by that of the Hypermotard 950 Concept presented in 2019 at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d?Este
    • A sophisticated painting process and application of the graphics guarantees a result comparable to that of an airbrushed bodywork
    • The electronic package of the Hypermotard 950 RVE is enhanced with the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO

Ducati presents the new Hypermotard 950 RVE, which is part of the Borgo Panigale fun-bike family between the entry model Hypermotard 950 and the top of the range Hypermotard 950 SP.

The Hypermotard 950 RVE is characterized by a livery called "Graffiti" that is inspired by street art. The bike builds on the success achieved in 2019, especially on social media, by the Hypermotard 950 Concept presented at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.

Wanting to transfer the same manufacturing quality of the concept bike from which it derives to the production motorcycle, it was necessary in the painting phases, to employ highly skilled labour, use very low thickness decals and adopt a particularly long and complex
process. The result is comparable to that of an airbrushed bodywork.

Not only graphics, but also a standard equipment upgrade for this new version. The electronic package of the Hypermotard 950 RVE is enhanced by the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO, which is added to the components already present in the standard version, namely Bosch Cornering ABS with Slide by...

    • Factory archives reveal first petrol/electric car co-developed with Czech tram pioneer in 1908
    • First ?KODA EV was the ?beer float? - a battery-powered delivery truck built in 1938
    • ?KODA developed numerous wood-gas models in response to fuel shortages
    • Innovation continues today with E-Mobility at the heart of ?KODA?s design philosophy

Innovation has been a cornerstone of the ?KODA design philosophy for 125 years. From the very first L&K bicycles and motorbikes right up to the Enyaq all-electric SUV, ?KODA has always sought to push the boundaries of technology while keeping its products affordable and value for money.

That?s no easy task, but over the last 12 decades, ?KODA has learned that innovation is as much about brain power, lateral thinking and ingenuity than it is cost. 2020 marks the debut of two key cars for ?KODA - the Superb iV plug-in hybrid and the Citigoe iV, the brand?s first fully-electric production model.

And while both models represent significant firsts for modern-era ?KODA, a close look at once secret archive material from the brand?s past reveals that pioneering engineers and designers at the brand?s Mladá Boleslav base successfully developed both hybrid and fully electric vehicles more than 100 years ago.

    1908 - the first ?KODA petrol/electric hybrid

In 1908, ?KODA AUTO founders Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement joined forces with renowned Czech engineer Franti?ek Kri?ík to investigate whether electric power was suitable for private vehicles. Kri?ík had successfully designed and engineered Prague?s electric tram system (which still runs today) and believed that electric power represented the future. Working with a L&K Type E prototype, he built...

    • SEAT M? eScooter125 is an all-electric motorcycle that mates a 9kW motor and 5.6kWh battery to provide up to 77 miles range
    • Two versions available ? one for private buyers and one for fleet and shared operators
    • SEAT M? eKickScooter65 is an electric scooter that will change urban mobility with a 40 mile range
    • eKickScooter65 restricted to 12mph and has two brakes (front electric and rear drum) to maximise safety for users
    • Vehicles will go on sale in the UK subject to usage legalised as part of Department for Transport trialling rental schemes currently being rolled out

SEAT is offering new mobility solutions which meet the needs of cities and its residents and commuters, launching three electric urban mobility vehicles: the series production of the SEAT M? eScooter125 (electric motorcycle) and the SEAT M? eKickScooter65 and eKickScooter25 (electric scooter).

Each offers a different approach to mobility, but highlights the changing face of how we travel around cities.

As the Department for Transport begins studies into the feasibility and viability of allowing electric scooters to be used on pavement, cycle lanes and public roads by trialling rental schemes, such as those seen in other European cities, the SEAT M? vehicles will be the perfect solution. Subject to successful completion of the trials and being legalised, SEAT will make these vehicles available to purchase across the UK.

The SEAT M? eScooter125, the brand?s first all-electric motorcycle, making traversing towns and cities simpler and more convenient. Its advanced electric powertrain better fits a world that is evolving and moving away from the conventional. The SEAT M? eKickScooter65...

    • Bentley reveals the engineering behind the Rotating Display
    • Choice of 12.3? Infotainment touchscreen, classic analogue dials or elegant veneer at the press of a button
    • Unique mechanism designed by Bentley achieving alignment of each face to a +/-0.3mm tolerance
    • 40 moving parts with two separate motors and gearboxes deliver a complex three-motion system
    • Personal choice of eight veneers in single or dual finish

At Bentley Motors there has been a philosophy of unrivalled craftsmanship ever since the company was founded in 1919 by W.O. Bentley. The Bentley Rotating Display, featured in the new Flying Spur as well as the Continental GT, is the modern, technically-focused interpretation of that philosophy. Bentley is revealing how the three-sided display, with over 150 parts and tolerances less than 0.5mm, was brought from concept to reality. Since launch the Bentley Rotating Display has been one of the most widely accepted options in the
Bentley range, with approximately 70% of customer orders specifying the innovative system.

To deliver this feature a team of designers and engineers focused their attention to combine craftsmanship and cutting edge technology at the press of a button. The team created a unique centrepiece, providing customers the ability to choose between the main 12.3? infotainment touchscreen, a set of three analogue gauges (outside air temperature, a compass and a chronometer) or a book-matched piece of veneer, in a manner even James Bond ? originally a Bentley driver - would be proud of.

The Bentley Rotating Display (BRD) took more than three years...

    • Advanced driver assistance and convenience systems added
    • New XPERIENCE trim gives the SUV a more robust and off-road character
    • A renewed range of advanced petrol and diesel engines

SEAT is refreshing its successful Ateca with the introduction of the 2020 version. The revamped vehicle will build on its SUV attributes, adding a refreshed and more emotional appearance both inside and outside, a fully connected user experience, improved levels of safety,
    comfort and efficiency.

At its launch in 2016, the SEAT Ateca brought a new dimension to the mid-size SUV market; the perfect match for urban and country life, offering a spacious, practical and versatile SUV with a unique style. Refreshed for 2020, SEAT has evolved the unique character and design of the Ateca, reinvigorating the SUV with added advanced technology, safety features and greater comfort.

?The Ateca has become one of the brands? more successful vehicles, selling more than 300,000 units since its introduction in 2016. The new SEAT Ateca 2020 is an evolution of the original product and it aims at continuing with its success by consolidating our position in one of the most important market segments,?
said Carsten Isensee, SEAT President and Vice-president for Finance and IT.

The SEAT Ateca is designed and developed in Barcelona, and produced in Kvasiny (Czech Republic), refreshing the line-up of SUVs, alongside the compact Arona and larger Tarraco, in a segment that is growing every year in popularity as customers look for design and function in a single package.

As more and more customers are seeking to reduce their carbon footprint, Scania now launches its concept for hybrid and fully electric power systems.

?Our in-house developed electrification concept draws on our experience from electrifying on-road vehicles,? says Joel Granath, Senior Vice President, Scania. ?With Scania?s long-standing excellence in producing engines that operate on diesel and alternative fuels, we now embark upon the next stage in development, namely carbon-mitigating electrified systems.?

The electrified power systems provide outstanding performance in compact designs. All components work seamlessly together and are controlled by a common management system. The single system management interface and the single mechanical interface ? CAN J1939 and SAE 1 ? will remain as previous and thereby simplify integration with external components.

The Scania systems will be both modular and scalable, allowing customers to select from and combine a number of components based on the application and specific demands.

With a potential CO2 emission reduction of up to 92 percent, Scania?s hybrid electric system combines an e-machine with a combustion engine ? either together or as stand-alone power sources. The hybrid electric system can be gainfully deployed in, for example, excavators, dump trucks, stone crushers, mobile cranes, concrete pump, as well as in airport crash tenders. For the marine segment, the system can be beneficial in, for instance, commuter vessels, road ferries, pilot vessels, and fish farm support...

Featuring the unique character of a V8 engine once again, the new Porsche Cayenne GTS offers a combination of effortless power, dynamic responsiveness and distinctive design. With two new GTS models, including for the first time a Coupé, Porsche is supplementing its successful SUV range with a four door, four-wheel drive car designed to further underline the reputation for spontaneous driving performance for which the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer is renowned.

Typically for the Porsche GTS models, the powertrain is a particular focal point in the dynamic repertoire: a V8 heart now beats once more under the bonnet of the Cayenne GTS, replacing the 3.6-litre V6 twin-turbo engine from the prior model. With an output of 460 PS (+20PS) and torque of 620 Nm (+20Nm), the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged eight cylinder offers significantly improved performance in all disciplines. Both GTS models sprint from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds (-0.6 secs) with the Sport Chrono package and have a top speed of 173 mph (+5mph) where permitted. A lowered chassis, distinctive exterior styling and a suite of special equipment complete the Cayenne GTS package.

Powerful, efficient, emotive: V8 engine with new sports exhaust systems
With the Porsche-developed 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine from the flagship Cayenne model, the new Cayenne GTS models offer significantly improved performance. At the same time, great importance has been placed on efficiency. Principally, this has been achieved by adaptive engine cylinder control, direct petrol injection with central injector position, an intelligently designed thermal...

    • Fourth-generation ?KODA Octavia features an array of safety features to protect cyclists, making it one of the most cycle-friendly cars on the market
    • Visual and audio alerts are activated when car is stationary, preventing drivers and passengers from opening their doors into cyclists as they ride past
    • Other cycle-friendly technologies include Predictive Cycling Protection, Turn Assist* and Collision Avoidance Assistance

?KODA?s new Octavia features latest technology that warns drivers and passengers to not open their doors into the path of oncoming cyclists.

The all-new fourth-generation Octavia is the first ?KODA model to feature Exit Warning, and is designed to help reduce the number of instances of ?dooring? ? where a cyclist is hit by the door of a parked vehicle opened by a passenger or driver.

Exit Warning, which is part of the brand?s Blind Spot Detection system available as standard from SE L First Edition, uses sensors to monitor the rear and sides of the vehicle when stationary. If a cyclist is detected, the system will warn the driver through a series of visual warnings and by sounding an alert, both of which will continue until the hazard has passed or the doors have been closed. Working on both the front and rear of the car, the alert will reduce the chance of passengers swinging their doors open and causing a possible collision.

The sophisticated cameras in the new Octavia are able to observe possible hazards to the rear of the vehicle up to a distance of 35 metres and at angle of approximately 120°, providing greater assurance for drivers and passengers...
